60 Year Old Cape Cod Rebirth

Located on a tree lined street of older and new homes, the clients wanted to bring their home’s kitchen and master bedoom up to date and, at the same time, give some new life to the home’s curb-side appeal. The left side second floor included a master bedroom/ bathroom addition, a new staircase addition at the middle was added to supplement the existing narrow staircase and was used as a design feature for the front elevation. A new kitchen was added at the front first floor which opened to a new dining and family room to the rear. A new front porch and gable dormers were added to enhance the front of the home.
