The client’s purchased 2 building lots to create a private 3-acre site located on a gently rolling hill. The program translated into a 10,000 square foot meandering home with traditional character.
The design includes multiple hip roofs with varying eave heights, round top windows, stone and stucco cladding, octagonal shaped rooms protruding outward creating interest to the facade, and a floor plan which turned at a 45-degree angle.
The 2-story mahogany entrance door with windows opens into a 2-story foyer with stately curved staircase. At the rear-facing living room is a custom 2-story steel reinforced window providing views of the outside living spaces and pool.
