This home borrows on the Arts and Crafts style with exterior materials being stone and Hardie plank siding, shingle and metal roofing, wood accents, roof eave brackets, a large front porch and carriage style garage doors. Having a professional home office, the client often had patient appointments which required we incorporate a side-client entrance. The front garage bay was designed with a volume ceiling and a lift to store a recreational vehicle above the car below.
Since the property slopes down at the rear, the back of the house was designed to include a walk-out basement for finishing in the future. A few years after completion, our firm was retained to design a Pool House with guest access to the finished basement. The rear deck was designed as a roof for the space below providing sun and weather protection for the patio underneath.
The pool and pool house are being phased. The pool has been built as well as the stone piers for the pool house. The pool house will be built in the near future. This video was prepared by our office for the client and illustrates the pool house.
