Pool House For One of Our Custom Homes

A client we designed a custom home for called us a few years later to design a pool house for their back yard. The 600 square foot building faces the pool, patio, and rear of the home we designed and houses a large Entertainment Space, a sit-down counter/bar with sink, dishwasher, and refrigerator, a private changing room, a full bathroom, and an outdoor shower. The Entertainment Space opens onto the 350 square foot covered patio through a 27 foot long set of folding stacking glass doors. The interior space has a volume ceiling with custom-designed knotty douglas-fir ash wood trusses to support the large hip roof. The windowed dormer floods the interior with natural light while complimenting the dormer design on the main house we designed for them. The covered patio area has a ceiling finished with warm wood tones of natural red cedar boards. Exterior materials match the main house and include brick, stucco, quoins, copper arch roofing and gutters, slate shingles with copper ice guards, and wrought iron ornamental railings.
