Our home of 26 years, was purchased from the first owners in 1994 and completely renovated on the inside and outside. A large rear-facing addition was added as well as a new front porch and portico. The original inexpensive plywood exterior siding was replaced with low maintenance composite shake siding.

About 25’ of wall at the front had 6” thick stone veneer which we matched by selecting stones from 3 different varieties to blend with the color, texture, and size of the existing stone. The new stone now surrounds the porch, the entire front and garage sides of the house as well as the new tapered entry piers. A mahogany arbor or “wings” were designed above and between the piers to greet visitors from the driveway.

The home’s interior includes a volume ceiling in the original 8’ high ceiling space, a new expanded kitchen with an island, peninsula with seating, a fireplace, dining area, gathering area, adjacent screened-in porch, large angled deck with built-in exotic Ipe wood bench, arbor, and planters. Built-ins were designed for several rooms including the Family Room, bedroom closets, and master bedroom which eliminates the need for free-standing dressers. The lower level includes a stone wine room, custom bar, entertainment space, and guest room with a full bath.
